Digital Analytics & Optimization: Reflections & Outcomes

The tenth course I've taken in my Digital Marketing Masters at Full Sail University is Digital Analytics & Optimization. In this course, I created a SMART Goal & KPI Business Report, Optimization Plan, and acquired certification in Search Engine Optimization.
Additionally, I participated in four discussion boards where I was able to contribute to meaningful conversations amongst my peers about a Landing Page, Corporate Goals, Social Media Analytics, and Free Analytics.
I will be reflecting on the elements from this course that correspond with some of the topics covered in the final project of the program:
Overall Goals & Objectives
In my SMART Goal & KPI assignment and Optimization Plan, I created a business report outlining SMART Goals, KPIs, action items, challenges, and solutions for my case study company's website. These goals focused on conversion for non-paid and paid traffic sources on the website, and ways to increase or decrease percentages accordingly.
Marketing Objectives
In my SMART Goal & KPI assignment and Optimization Plan, I defined marketing objectives based on the following questions; What will happen? What amount indicates success? By when this will be accomplished?
Website - Conversion Goals & Landing Pages
In my Landing Page discussion and Optimization Plan, I described the design of one of my case studies ideal landing pages and outlined conversion goals within the optimization plan for my case study company's website.
Marketing Campaigns & Programs
In the Optimization Plan, I outlined conversion goals, measures of success, goals, solutions, and more for my case study company's website.
Evaluation, Control & Continuous Improvement
In each discussion board post, I detailed free analytics tools, tracking methods, testing processes, and projected outcomes of data for my case study company. I primarily focused on data to gather based on features and functions within Google Analytics.

This month's coursework has helped me formulate numerous elements for my final project, a comprehensive digital marketing plan for Baldur's Gate 3, by giving me a greater understanding of digital analytics and website optimization through the creation of business reports, research, certification, and discussions. I learned about many different analytics tools that I had no experience with prior to taking this course and I deepened my knowledge in the latest version of Google Analytics.
As I progress through the Digital Marketing Masters program at Full Sail University, I will be filling in missing elements to various sections on my Digital Marketing Plan for Baldur's Gate 3.
