The second course I have taken so far in my Digital Marketing Masters at Full Sail University is Digital Marketing Fundamentals. In this course, I wrote a Marketing Research Paper, created a Click Fraud Presentation, conducted a Competitor Website Analysis, and restructured my portfolio to best reflect my current journey.
I had participated in four discussion boards where I was able to have meaningful and educational discussions with my peers about Digital Marketing Strategies, Ads/Retargeting, Infographics, and managing our Online Reputation.
I was able to get a deeper understanding in areas of marketing that I did not have as much experience in, such as SEO and Email Marketing.
Attached below is an image of assignments, resources, and feedback from the Digital Marketing Fundamentals course at Full Sail University. Each class moving forward will also have the same OneDrive setup to prepare for the final month of the degree program.

DMF Course Outcomes
1) Develop a high-level digital marketing strategy that emphasizes search engine optimization, email marketing, social media marketing, and content marketing best practices.
The assignments I completed that corresponds with this outcome are Competitor Website Analysis, Marketing Research Paper, and Web Analytics. The results are a high-level paper and discussion about SEO, Email Marketing, Social Media Marketing, and Content Marketing practices.
2) Explain key factors that affect how search engines crawl, index, and rank websites.
The assignment I completed that corresponds with this outcome is the Competitor Website Analysis, where crawl, index, and rank of websites were discussed. The results are defining these terms, while also comparing the real statistics from real websites.
3) Identify strengths and weaknesses of websites.
The assignment I completed that corresponds with this outcome is the Competitor Website Analysis, where I explain the areas that competitors excelled in and areas that competitors did not excel in. The results are a detailed table and a short paper on what my chosen company could do in order to improve their website, including the comparison of similar-realm competitors.
4) Conduct basic market analysis and industry research.
The assignments I completed that corresponds with this outcome are the Marketing Research Paper, Retargeting Discussion, Click Fraud Presentation, Online Reputation, Competitor Website Analysis, and Website Analytics Discussion. The results are a new and better understanding of marketing strategies, detailed discussions amongst peers, and elements for the capstone Digital Marketing Plan.
